Category III Personal Protective Equipment (life-saving)
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is equipment worn by workers to protect themselves from risks related to their duties (Article 74, Legislative Decree 81/08). The law requires the use of specific PPE based on the level of risk of the activity. Compliance with the European regulation has increased the administrative and criminal penalties for failure to use PPE and has expanded the scope of those responsible.
