Petzl Self-braking descenders

Self-braking descender with anti-panic function, equipped with a multifunction handle to release the rope and control the descent with the hand on the free end, move more easily on an inclined or horizontal plane (thanks to the handle button) and stop at the workplace without a stop key.

The I'D S self-braking descender is primarily designed for work at height and difficult access. It features an ergonomic handle for comfortable descent control. The integrated anti-panic function and anti-error cam reduce the risk of accidents resulting from incorrect use. The AUTO-LOCK system allows you to easily position yourself at the work station, without having to use the handle or tie off the rope. Once locked, the rope can be retrieved without using the handle. The opening latch allows you to install the rope while keeping the device connected to your harness. The I'D S is compatible with ropes from 10 to 11.5 mm and can handle loads up to 250 kg.
