How should a condominium administrator behave when considering roofing work on a condominium building?

If the work involves the roofing of existing buildings, the client, in this case the condominium administrator, must arrange for a qualified technician to prepare a Technical Document for permanent fall protection devices. The Technical Document must be attached to:

  • to the request for building compliance and habitability or to the notification of completion of works for interventions subject to a permit regime and for those subject to notification of commencement of works (CIL), pursuant to art. 7, paragraph 4 of regional law 15/2013;
  • to the final project for interventions relating to public works of state, regional, provincial or municipal interest,

and retained for interventions subject to free construction activities pursuant to art. 7 paragraph 1 of Regional Law no. 15/2013, and for all other cases in which permanent devices, supplied with the work, are installed to prevent falls from a height.
