Yes: the lifeline can only be used with Category III PPE, designed to protect against falls from a height. Pursuant to Legislative Decree 81/08 and subsequent amendments, Article 77, paragraph 5, letter a), the use of these PPE requires mandatory training and completion of training, information, and instruction courses.
